Let me start off saying....my opinion, my opinion, my opinion. I am a loyal Home Run Inn fan. I am a native and have been eating eating and loving their pizza for decades. I buy frozen, fresh and dock. If you know you know. With this looonnng disclaimer the deep dish pizza is just okay. I was hopeful but nothing beats their thin crust. I will say it's worth a try. Their perfect pizza sauce is the shining star. However the cheese which makes a deep dish doesn't hit the spot for me. On another note the turkey pepperoni is the business!! And if you haven't had the cheesy garlic bread, I believe you have cheated yourself.

The beautiful young ladies at the counter and in the kitchen are the “Heart of Beat” of the restaurant. They are extremely respectful and great communicators. The Deep Dish Pizza was great, but I recommend they work on the crust of the pizza to make sure the sauce and ingredients don’t shift during Transportation. EXCELLENT SERVICE YOUNG LADIES FROM A MAN THAT SERVED MANY MEALS IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND ROYAL PLACE WITH QUEEN ELIZABETH!!!!

I’m visiting Chicago for the first time. My friend took me for Chicago pizza and IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Everything I thought it would be it was. We had the sausage, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. We ordered a side garden salad and split it. There was so much we brought home leftovers. The only negative and it really isn’t negative was that kids were loud. The place is a great place for family. I will definitely come back. Service was great, thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight.

I don't even know where to begin. The food was delectable and the staff was extraordinary. Nothing but great sweet caring workers who want you to have the best experience. Ordered the "Nicks Super" which was a supreme pizza along with Alfredo Chicken Pasta. The biggest 2 items that caught my attention the most were the boneless wings and their new "Golden Buffalo Sauce". The wings were fresh and tasted so delicious it melted so well in every bite. Highly recommend the Golden Buffalo sauce as it felt like a mix of buffalo and bbq with a hint of chipotle! Very cozy and welcoming restaurant. Definitely will be returning. 5 Stars!

CAMARA was our server! My women's ministry came for lunch there were 21 of us and CAMARA gave us excellent attentive service all by herself. She was friendly and extremely professional. Our order was massive and she handled every request with grace. This type of service is very rare in this day and age. Having more mature workers among the younger adults is a BIG plus for a successful business. CAMARA is ! And we enjoyed five different pizzas,pasta,salad,fries wings zucchini fries and drinks as well but the stand out memory for us will be the top notch service we received. Kudos to CAMARA!

Their combo meal deal is a great value. The deal comes with 1, 2 or 3 slices, a drink, and a cookie. It’s a perfect lunch to go. The team at the take out counter has always been kind and approachable.

Yes, the garlic butter crust is still sooo yummy. Crust is so good, not as thick as it used to be many moons ago but still delicious. The HRI salad special was yummy as well. Plenty of toppings and and good flavor .
